DESCRIPTION:Versos de Mujer brings Puerto Rican traditional music to life through the artistry of women trovadoras and instrumentalists. Their performance preserves cultural heritage while sharing its passion and authenticity with the diaspora during the BoriCorridor Tour 2026 edition.  \n  \nVersos de Mujer\, the only all-female Puerto Rican traditional music ensemble\, will bring its concert “Con Puerto Rico en el corazón” (With Puerto Rico in Our Hearts) to Chicago for the first time this April. Their show celebrates cultural heritage and the power of women in music\, offering audiences an intimate and powerful experience. \n  \nDoors open: 5:00 p.m.\nStart time: 6:00 p.m. \n  \nAbout Versos de Mujer \nFounded in 2017\, Versos de Mujer is the only Puerto Rican traditional music collective composed exclusively of women. Featuring seasoned troubadours and instrumentalists\, the group blends poetry\, music\, and tradition into a powerful and emotional stage experience. Its mission is to bring Puerto Rican cultural heritage to life and create a deep connection with the diaspora\, delivering authenticity and passion in every performance. They have participated in festivals\, cultural events\, and community spaces across Puerto Rico\, and in 2026 they join the BoriCorridor Tour to share this unique experience with Puerto Rican communities in the northeastern United States. \n  \nEnsemble: \nLenny Adorno\, trovadora \nMaribel Delgado\, cuatro \nAidita Encarnación\, guitar & singer  \nDaliz Marie Dávila\, bongo \nRocío del Mar Santiago\, congas \nDeborah Rodríguez\, trovadora \nRosaura Batista\, trovadora \nCarmen (Titi) Rodríguez\, singer \n  \nTICKETS\n  \nSegundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center is proud to partner with BorriCorridor as a Community Co-Presenter \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFully compatible with SRBCC’s decades-long work as a creative hub serving Boricua artists in Chicago\, BoriCorridor aims to connect a vast network of cultural workers in the U.S. and serve as a tool for Puerto Rican artists in the archipelago and the diaspora to reach out\, collaborate and showcase their work. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAn initiative produced by Ágora Cultural Architects with the support of The Mellon Foundation and in collaboration with the University of Puerto Rico’s Master in Cultural Management and Administration program researchers.
