Join puppeteers Gandul Gandulero (San Juan) and Tom Lee (Chicago) as they take you through a hands on exploration of shadow puppetry and musical storytelling at SRBCC’s one of a kind performance space in Hermosa.  Beginning with an introduction to shadow traditions from around the world, participants will learn puppet joints, controls and techniques using templates and materials provided by the instructors.  The workshop will then progress to original ideas and stories created from scratch before culminating in an epic sharing of shadows and sound!  All experience levels are welcome!  Children under 10 will do best accompanied by an adult.
