La Resi: The Artist Residency at SRBCC
A Creative Space for Local & Visiting Artists
Since 2021, the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center (SRBCC) has provided two artist residences designed to support local and visiting artists. These fully equipped spaces offer a collaborative environment where artists from different disciplines can engage with Chicago’s vibrant creative community.
Artists who contribute to the local scene by hosting workshops, engaging with the community, or performing in SRBCC’s theater can stay in these apartments at no cost. This initiative fosters artistic exchange and ensures that cultural projects have the necessary support to thrive.

The residency program is open to musicians, performers, visual artists, and multidisciplinary creators who seek:
