David Rivera is a Puerto Rican recording artist, composer, arranger, and educator whose sound moves across Latin music, jazz, gospel, rock, and pop. A 2004 BEST Scholarship recipient, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and has collaborated in concerts and recordings with artists including Ron Kenoly, John Benítez, Gonzalo Grau, Pedro Capó, Chucho Valdés, and Gilberto Santa Rosa.

Versos de Mujer, the only all-female Puerto Rican traditional music ensemble, will bring its concert “Con Puerto Rico en el corazón” (With Puerto Rico in Our Hearts) for the first time this April. Their show celebrates cultural heritage and the power of women in music, offering audiences an intimate and powerful experience.
