Segundo Ruiz Belvis Center hosts a presentation of Art Papi, a 216-page bilingual book about Puerto Rico's contemporary history and subculture through an artistic lens. Appetizers by Jibaritos on Harlem and Wine reception at 6:00 pm. Art Papi is an archival account of the creative flourishing that occurred on the island after Hurricane Maria and a questioning of our political and cultural landscape. The book provides insight into the voices of creatives who challenged this emerging nexus while sharing with readers the strength of their vulnerabilities as artists.
